Blue's Sticco-Ivins Takes Home Fourth Consecutive Regional Diver of the Week Honor

WELLESLEY, Mass. — Wellesley College swimming & diving first year Maura Sticco-Ivins (Framingham, Mass.) has been named Corvias ECAC Division III New England Diver of the Week, for the week ending February 1, 2015.  

The reigning New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) and ECAC Diver of the Week, Sticco-Ivins has won six consecutive NEWMAC and four consecutive ECAC Diver of the Week Awards.  

Sticco-Ivins earned the top score in both the 1 and 3-meter competitions in a dual meet with Bates on Saturday. On the 1-meter board, she registered the top score of 285.95. She then led a Wellesley sweep of the top-three spots in the 3-meter event, earning the victory with a score of 311.95.

Sticco-Ivins and the Blue will be in action at this weekend's Wheaton College Invitational in Norton, Mass. before heading to the 2014 NEWMAC Championships, February 19-22, at WPI.
