Sticco-Ivins Earns Fourth NEWMAC Diver of the Week Award

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College swimming & diving sophomore Maura Sticco-Ivins (Framingham, Mass.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Diver of the Week for the week ending December 6th.

This is the fourth consecutive Diver of the Week honor for Sticco-Ivins. She also earned the award for the weeks ending November 8th, 15th and 22nd.

Sticco-Ivins won both the 1 and 3-meter diving competitions at this weekend's MIT Winter Invitational. On Friday night in the 1-meter (6 dives), Sticco-Ivins posted a score of 296.23 to lead a 1-2 Wellesley sweep of the event. She then went on to record a score of 320.00 to win the 3-meter (6 dives) on Saturday.

Sticco-Ivins and the Blue continue the 2015-16 campaign on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM versus Babson and Coast Guard at Chandler Pool.
