Sticco-Ivins Named ECAC Diver of the Week For Third Time This Season
WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College sophomore Maura Sticco-Ivins (Framingham, Mass.) has been named the ECAC Division III New England Diver of the Week for the week ending January 24, 2016.
The Framingham, Mass. native has now won the ECAC Regional award three times during the 2015-16 season.
Sticco-Ivins won both the 1 and 3-meter titles at this weekend's Seven Sisters Swimming & Diving Championship, helping the Blue to their 19th straight title. On Saturday, Sticco-Ivins broke her own Seven Sisters record to win the 1-meter (11 dives) with a score of 530.00. She then went on to win the 3-meter (11 dives) on Sunday, again breaking her own meet record with a score of 514.90.
Wellesley College swimming & diving returns to Chandler Pool on Saturday, January 30, when they host Bates and Conn. College at 2:00 PM.
