No. 25 Blue Swimming & Diving Named CSCAA Fall 2019 Scholar All America Team

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) has named the Wellesley College women's swimming and diving team to its Scholar All-America team list for the Fall 2019 semester.

A record 762 programs from 480 institutions were named Scholar All-America across each NCAA Division this fall. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2019 grade point averages and represent 17,685 student-athletes. To qualify, teams must have a cumulative GPA of over 3.00, with the Blue totaling at 3.44 cumulative mark. 
  
The Blue have excelled both in school and the pool this season. Wellesley is currently ranked No. 25 in the CSCAA Division III Coaches Poll and has posted a perfect 7-0 mark in dual meets. The team also earned a third place finish at the MIT Invitational and were the second ranked Division III team at the FIU Invitational in January.

Wellesley will return to action at the 2020 New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships, February 20-23, at MIT's Zesiger Center Pool in Cambridge, Mass.
