Wellesley College Tennis Falls to Bowdoin, 7-2
Wellesley fell behind 2-1 after doubles with the team of
Marie Wantanabe (Houston, TX) and
Jacqueline Shen (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) picking
up an 8-3 victory over Chantalle Lavertu and Hannah Hoerner.
In singles, Meghan Stubblebine (Cumming, GA) was
Wellesley's lone winner as the senior was victorious in the fifth
position. She defeated Hannah Hoerner, 7-5, 6-4.
Wellesley is back in action on the road at Tufts University. The Blue will take on the Jumbos on Friday at 4:00pm.
