BOSTON -- Four members of the Wellesley College track & field team represented the Blue during the final day of competition at the NEICAAA All-New England Championships on Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Senior Sonja Cwik (La Canada, Calif.) posted a season, and career-best, time of 5:04.06 in the Mile, winning heat two of the event and finishing 12th overall. For the moment, Cwik's time vaults her into the NCAA top-25 in the event. After earning the eighth and final qualifying spot for Saturday's 400m final with a time of 58.18 in Friday's preliminaries, senior Isabella Narvaez (Cali, Colombia) improved one spot on Saturday, finishing seventh with a time of 58.36.

Narvaez and Cwik ended the day with the 4 x 800m Relay, joining juniors Isabella King (Cincinnati, Ohio), and Taylor Fortnam (Portola Valley, Calif.) to post a time of 9.41.00. Wellesley's time was good for fourth in the first heat and 11th overall.

The Blue will have one last opportunity to earn a qualifying spot for the 2017 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on Saturday, March 4, at the Tufts Last Chance Qualifier at 11:00 AM.
