Wellesley Volleyball To Host Ovarian Cancer Awareness Game On Tuesday

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- In recognition of September as National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, Wellesley College Volleyball is hosting an Ovarian Cancer Awareness Game in support of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) on Tuesday, September 19, at 7:00 PM when the Blue host Wheaton in New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action at Dorothy Towne Fieldhouse. 

The mission of the NOCC is to save lives by fighting tirelessly to prevent and cure ovarian cancer, and to improve the quality of life for survivors. All Wellesley Blue fans are encouraged to donate directly to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition by visiting:

Wellesley Athletics will also sell limited edition teal Wellesley t-shirts for $10 (cash only) on Tuesday night, with proceeds going directly to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. In addition, fans at Tuesday's match can also pick-up teal wristbands, bookmarks, symptom cards, brochures detailing the work of the NOCC and a pamphlet entitled "What Everyone Should Know About Ovarian Cancer" in an effort to raise awareness about Ovarian Cancer.
