Keenan Earns NEWMAC XC Runner of the Week Award

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College cross country junior Mary Keenan (Boerne, Texas) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the period ending September 20, 2015.

Keenan took third to lead Wellesley cross country to a tie for second place at the 2015 Bates College Invitational on Saturday. The Blue tied with host Bates, as Keenan turned in a time of 18:40.1, trailing only a pair of runners from Tufts, to finish just 0:08.4 off the first place time. 

Keenan and the Blue cross country team will travel to the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn. this Saturday, September 26, for the Roy Griak Invitational.
