Blue Cross Country Announces 2019 Schedule, Hosts Invitational on August 30

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College cross country and Head Coach Phil Jennings have announced the team's schedule for the upcoming 2019 season. 

The Blue have seven regular season events on the schedule in 2019, highlighted by the season opening Wellesley Invitational on Friday, August 30 at 6:15 PM at Nehoiden Golf Course. This year marks the third consecutive season the Blue will host the season-opening invite.

After competing in Maine, New Hampshire, and Connecticut the Blue return to Massachusetts for the annual New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships, set to take place this year on November 3 at Franklin Park in Boston. One of the Blue's early season trips (September 21) will take the team to Bowdoin, where they will return for the 2019 NCAA Division III New England Regional on Saturday, November 16.
