Wellesley Cross Country Named 2020 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College cross country has been named a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams for the 2020 NCAA Division III Cross Country season.

To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Overall, there were 207 women's teams that received All-Academic honors in NCAA Division III. Head Coach Phil Jennings' squad finished the fall with a cumulative team GPA of 3.59.

The Blue did not compete in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but members of the team trained both on campus and at home.


The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) is the non-profit professional organization that represents men's and women's cross country and track & field coaches in the United States. The organization represents over 8,000 coaching members, including 94% of NCAA coaches.
