2021-22

Cross Country:

• Competed in six events for the Blue as a sophomore
• Ran a 22:28.7 in her first collegiate event at the Wellesley College Cross Country Invitational
• Placed seventh at the Suffolk Invite and ran a 26:08.5
• Broke her 6K personal record at the NEWMAC Cross Country Championship with a time of 25:38.6

2020-21

Cross Country: 

• Did not participate due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Track & Field: 

• Did not participate due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Before Wellesley:

• Attended the International School of Kuala Lumpur, and graduated in 2020.
• Was a three sport, 4 year IASAS athlete in Varsity Cross Country, Swimming, and Track and Field.
• Was captain of the XC team in Jr and Sr year, and captain of the swimming and T&F team in Sr year.

Personal:

• Daughter of Yau Yee Ming and Lim Yam Poh.
• Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
• Has one brother, Yau Shen Ming.
• Has 2 dogs, Oreo and Artemis!
• Chose Wellesley immediately after my first visit last summer. The campus was stunning and everything you could dream of, but more than that, the passion that exuded from every faculty and student there was palpable. It was clear how much each person there loved the college, and loved what they were doing. The women I met were all so unique, driven, and inspiring.
