GENEVA, N.Y. -- The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the list of 2023 National Academic Teams on Wednesday. Wellesley College field hockey is one of 61 Division III programs to earn the recognition. 2023 marks the 14th straight year the Blue have earned National Academic Team status.

Wellesley had a team GPA of 3.75 for the fall semester and 10 members of the team received NFHCA National Academic Squad honors last Wednesday.

The National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the association is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game. The NFHCA strives to be the organization that every field hockey coach looks to for the resources to grow in the game and the inspiration to stay in the game.
