Wellesley Field Hockey Receives NFHCA National Academic Squad Honors

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has announced the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad for the 2019 season. This year, 1,943 student-athletes from 157 Division III institutions earned recognition, including four from the Wellesley College field hockey has earned Academic Team honors.

Field Hockey's Dennis Named to NFHCA Division III All-Region First Team

Wellesley College field hockey junior Carson Dennis (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) has been named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-New England East Region First Team selection for the 2019 season. The All-Region selection is the first of Dennis' Wellesley career following a season in which she was named to the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) First Team for the first time.

Wellesley College field hockey senior Hannah Maisano (Gambrills, Md.) will play in the 2019 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division III Senior Game at 5:00 PM EST on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pa. following the completion of the NCAA Division III semifinal games.
Wellesley's Dennis, Wiggin Named to NEWMAC Field Hockey All-Conference Team

The New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced the 2019 Field Hockey conference and postseason awards on Thursday and Wellesley College field hockey juniors Carson Dennis (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) and Mitzi Wiggin (North Hampton, N.H.) have each been named to the 2019 All-Conference team. Dennis earned a spot on the first team and Wiggin was named to the All-Conference second team.
