I am so grateful for my time as a member of the Wellesley Athletics community. From the first day of orientation when I met Tessa and the other crew first years and became acquainted with more upperclass teammates throughout the week, I felt instant comfort and support.
I’ve felt so seen and so known and so appreciated over these past four years, and truly experienced the bliss that is our team culture. Especially this past spring, prior to our season being cut short, I felt so much camaraderie. Those weeks of grinding indoors before we hit spring break are so crucial to our success and we take them so seriously. To not have those early mornings manifest into the national championship I know we all deserved was a devastation that I know our rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores will not take for granted.
I look forward to cheering on my teammates for the rest of my life and know that something meaningful can come from the loss we have all shared. I am so appreciative of every person in the Wellesley athletics community who has contributed to my personal growth!
