On Saturday, Wellesley College swimming & diving first year Jaya Magavi (West Hartford, Conn.) competed in 3-Meter Diving at the NCAA Division III Diving Regionals, hosted at Colby College's Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center.

Wellesley College swimming & diving first year Jaya Magavi (West Hartford, Conn.) placed ninth out of 31 competitors in the 1-Meter Diving event at the NCAA Division III Diving Regionals. This year’s Diving Regionals are being held at Colby College’s Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center.

Wellesley College swimming & diving sophomore Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) and the 200 Medley Relay team of sophomore Tracey Liu (Princeton, N.J.), Sekhon, sophomore Aubrey Cantrell (Palo Alto, Calif,), senior Ariana Mitsuoka (Centennial, Colo.) and alternate senior McKaela Glanville (Menlo Park, Calif.) have qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.

Wellesley College swimming & diving sophomore Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) won the 200 Breaststroke race on the final day of the NEWMAC Championships, held at MIT's Zesiger Center Pool. The Blue finished fifth out of 10 in the team competition for the second straight year.

Wellesley College swimming & diving sophomore Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) won the 100 Breaststroke event to earn NEWMAC First Team All-Conference honors on Saturday at the NEWMAC Championships, held at MIT's Zesiger Center Pool. Sekhon's time of 1:02.37 shattered her own program record and was good for an NCAA "B" cut.

Coast Guard Defeats Blue Swimming & Diving; Sekhon Sets Pool Record in 200 Breaststroke

Wellesley College swimming & diving sophomore Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) set a Roland Pool record in the 200 Breaststroke but Coast Guard Academy narrowly defeated the Blue 150-130 on Friday evening.

Wellesley Swimming & Diving's Sekhon Sets 200 Breaststroke Program Record on Final Day of MIT Invitational

Sophomore Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) set a Wellesley College swimming & diving program record in the 200 Breaststroke event and earned an NCAA "B" cut on the final day of the MIT Invitational at Al '51 & Barrie Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool on Sunday. The Blue finished the MIT Invitational fourth out of seven teams. Sekhon won the 200 Breaststroke prelim with a program record time of 2:19.30, which surpassed the previous program record that was set by Sekhon at the 2022 MIT Invitational. In the "A" final of the 200 Breaststroke, Sekhon finished second with a time of 2:19.34.
