I didn't know Wellesley College existed until I was recruited about a week before the admissions deadline. To be honest, I still think of it as a bit of a fluke miracle, all of the pieces falling into place at exactly the right time to lead me to a school and a team that have changed my life for the better in so many ways. I am so thankful for everyone who has helped me learn and grow academically, athletically, and personally through shaping my Wellesley experience. More than anything, I am endlessly grateful to Wellesley Field Hockey for introducing me to this community, for supporting me every step of the way, and for believing in me even when I didn't believe in myself.

WFH will always make me think of our NEWMAC tournament game my sophomore year where we (the #6 seed) upset the #3 seed in a 3-0 victory, and especially our Senior Day game this year where we came back from a 3-0 deficit and scored the tying goal with less than a minute left to win in OT. I'll also always remember flying straight from a job interview in NYC to our game at Bowdoin last year and showing up to the field in my blazer and heels--probably the most quintessentially Wellesley experience of my athletic career. None of this could have happened without all the support I've received from my coaches, from our athletic trainers and weight room coaches, and from everyone else in PERA who has worked so hard to let me live this fluke miracle for four whole years.

Above all, Wellesley Field Hockey to me is my teammates. Getting to play the sport I love these past four years feels like the side perk of getting to be friends with y'all. I would go to the ends of the earth for each of you, and I am so grateful to have you in my life no matter where it takes us.

Thank you again to PERA, and to both my family and my fhamily. Go Blue!!!
