"We are excited to welcome Shannah to our Blue Nation family. This is such a critical role for our department and it has a very direct impact on the student experience. Shannah's enthusiasm for being a part of the Wellesley community and providing high quality services to our students was readily apparent. She is absolutely ready to takeover this role and I am excited to work with her on behalf of the well-being of our students. I am also particularly grateful for the work done by [assistant athletic trainers] Korey Blodgett and Pichy Chhean during this interim time period."

"I am beyond excited for the opportunity to work at Wellesley as the Director of Sports Medicine/Student-Athlete Well-Being. I want to thank Bethany, the search committee, coaches, and student-athletes for the opportunity. I look forward to being a part of the continued growth and success of the student-athletes and the Wellesley PERA Department. I would like to take the time to thank the WPI PERA Department and student-athletes for all their support over the last seven years."

Dalton started at WPI as an Assistant Athletic Trainer/Physical Education, serving in the role from 2015-2019 at WPI. Before joining the Engineers, Dalton worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y. from 2011-2015.
