Before Wellesley: A four-year field hockey letter winner at the Winsor School in Boston... was also a five-year varsity swimmer and tennis player... served as captain of swimming her senior year of high school... named Eastern Independent League First Team All-League in Field Hockey by the Boston Globe in 2014... awarded the Winsor School's Class of 1972 Prize by the Physical Education department for Athletic Leadership, Spirit, and Performance... qualified for the New England Championships in swimming in 2014 and 2015 in freestyle... helped Winsor field hockey to its first-ever appearance in the New England Prep School Athletic Conference tournament... made it to Class C Championship game in 2012 and reached the quarterfinals in 2013... awarded the Winsor School's Nina Cies '68 Memorial Award, given to the senior whose intellect, character, love, and understanding have greatly enriched life at Winsor. 

Personal: Daughter of Nayla Sahyoun and Nick Mitropoulos... born in Boston, Mass... has two siblings, her brother Teddy and sister, Alexandra... three-time Boston Marathon participant (2015, 2016, 2017)... hopes to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism.
