WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Callie Lekas, Head Field Hockey Coach and Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics (PERA) Assistant Professor of the Practice at Wellesley College has announced the hiring of Abby Campbell as Goalkeeper Coach for the Blue.

Campbell joins the Blue coaching staff after a four-year career at Division II Stonehill College in Easton, MA. While at Stonehill, Campbell started all 18 games in goal as a senior for the Skyhawks, totaling 91 saves and a .827 save percentage while earning 13 wins and recording five shutouts. She earned NFHCA Division II National Defensive Player of the Week accolades during her senior season en route to earning Northeast-10 Third Team All-Conference honors and a spot on the 2021 NFHCA Division III Senior Team.

Campbell has been the Head Goalie Coach at Patriot Field Hockey Club in Norwood, MA since 2018, working with players from ages 12-18. She originally joined the club as an assistant coach but was promoted to head coach in the Summer of 2020. She currently works at Randolph Animal Hospital and as a freelance photographer, shooting published assignments with images featured in the NY Daily News, Wall Street Journal and on Boston.com.

Campbell graduated from Stonehill in May 2022 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Journalism.
