Wellesley Softball's Delgado Receives NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference Honors

WESTWOOD, Mass. - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced the 2023 Softball All-Conference Team on Wednesday. Among the honorees was Wellesley College softball first year Andrea Delgado (Miami, Fla.)

Delgado batted .315 (.340 in NEWMAC games) with a .351 on-base percentage this season, scoring 10 runs with nine runs batted in and three doubles. The first year led Wellesley and was top-ten in the NEWMAC with 15 stolen bases and had four three-hit games throughout the season.

The 2023 NEWMAC Softball All-Conference Team consists of a first team of 10 honorees and second team of 12 honorees, as voted on by the 10 head softball coaches.
