Wellesley Fencing Wins Tufts Invitational

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley Fencing won the Tufts Invitational on Sunday, going 3-0 overall.

The Blue won 16-11 against Stevens, posting an 8-1 win in foil, and 4-5 losses in both epee and sabre. Wellesley went 21-6 over Yeshiva, winning all three weapons by posting an 8-1 in foil, 6-3 in epee, and 7-2 in sabre. In a 14-3 win against Tufts, Wellesley took a 9-0 win against Tufts in foil, but suffered losses of 4-5 and 1-8 in epee and sabre.

Fencing is back into action on January 26 for a 7:00 p.m. meet against Brandeis University.
