Xu Makes NFC All-Conference Second Team

Grace Xu '26 was named to NFC All-Conference Second Team

WELLESLEY, Mass. - Wellesley College fencing first year Grace Xu (Toronto, Ontario) received Northeast Fencing Conference (NFC) All-Conference Second Team honors in epee based on her performances at the NFC conference meets this season.

Xu compiled a 22-8 (73.33%) NFC conference fencing record this season, highlighting by a 3-0 performance against Division I Boston College at the first NFC conference meet and two wins against strong Division III powerhouse Tufts at the third NFC conference meet. The first year fencer has compiled a standout record of 63-23 (73.26%) so far this season, including a 14-1 day at the Vassar Invitational to help the Blue finish 7-1.

The Blue return to action at the Eastern Women's Fencing Conference (EWFC) Championships which will be held at Drew University in Madison, N.J. on February 19, beginning at 9:00 AM.


Founded in 1992, the Northeast Fencing Conference's mission is to support intercollegiate fencing in and around New England. The league organizes a round-robin schedule of dual meet competitions for the fencing programs at all member institutions. The member institutions are a mix of both NCAA varsity programs and student-organized club programs.
