Wang Collects Liberty League Women's Golf Performer of the Week Accolade
TROY, N.Y. -- Wellesley College golf first year Audrey Wang (Fremont, Calif.) has earned the Liberty League Women's Golf Performer of the Week honor for the week of April 1.
Wang carded a 68 (-4) to win the one-day Vassar Invitational this past Saturday. The score set a Wellesley golf program record for the lowest 18-hole mark. On Sunday, Wang shot a 72 (E) at the Vassar invitational II. The first year finished third and helped the Blue shoot a program best 284 (-4) as a team.
This is Wang's fourth honor of the season. She was previously named Performer of the Week for the weeks of September 25 and October 16 and Rookie of the Week for the week of September 18.
Up next, the Blue will host the one-day Ann S. Batchelder Invitational at the Nehoiden Golf Club on Saturday, April 13.
