Blue Golf in Action at Liberty League Championship on April 27-28

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- No. 8 Wellesley College golf is set to take part in the 2024 Liberty League Women's Golf Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 27-28. 

The event takes place at the Pinehaven Country Club in Guilderland, N.Y. and consists of a 36-hole, stroke play tournament. Play begins at 12:00 PM on Saturday.

A member conference of the NCAA's Division III, The Liberty League has 11 full members and sponsors championships in 27 sports. The member institutions of the league place the highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience and on the successful completion of its student-athletes' academic programs. The member institutions seek to establish and maintain an environment in which a student-athlete's athletic activities are conducted as an integral part of the educational experience.

At the beginning of the 2012-2013 season New York University became an associate member in both men's and women's golf, while Wellesley College and Mount Holyoke College (2012-2020) became associate members in women's golf. Starting in the 2019-2020 season, Buffalo State College joined as an associate member for football.
