Wellesley Golf Places Four on Liberty League All-Academic Team

TROY, N.Y. – Four members of Wellesley College golf have been named to the Liberty League's 2024 Spring All-Academic Women's Golf Team.

Senior Marilyn Fang (Beijing, China) and junior Norah Catlin (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) each earned All-Academic recognition for a second straight year.

Sophomores Lucia Chen (Horseheads, N.Y.) and Ashley Cong (Troy, Mich.) both made the team in their first year of eligibility.

In order to be eligible for the Liberty League All-Academic teams, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and must be a sophomore or higher in class standing.

Liberty League announces Spring 2024 All-Academic Teams


A member conference of the NCAA's Division III, The Liberty League has 11 full members and sponsors championships in 27 sports. The member institutions of the league place the highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience and on the successful completion of its student-athletes' academic programs. The member institutions seek to establish and maintain an environment in which a student-athlete's athletic activities are conducted as an integral part of the educational experience.
