Du Earns Liberty League Women's Golf Performer of the Week Award
TROY, N.Y. -- Wellesley College golf first year Aileen Du (Auckland, New Zealand) has been named the Liberty League Women's Golf Performer of the Week honor for the week of April 22.
Du carded a 146 (71-75) to finish second out of 97 competitors at the Jack Leaman Invitational this past weekend. Du's score of 146 is a Wellesley golf program-low for 36 holes and helped the Blue win the event for the first time in program history.
Next up, the Blue will compete at the annual Liberty League Championships on April 26-27. The event takes place at the Pinehaven Golf Club in Guilderland, N.Y.
