Three Members of Blue Lacrosse Earn NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Honors

Three members of Wellesley lacrosse earned NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honors.

WESTWOOD, Mass. - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced the 2023 Women's Lacrosse Academic All-Conference Team on Wednesday. Wellesley College lacrosse placed three team members on the list.

Seniors Liz Sugg (Palermo, Maine) and Salome Greene (Minnetrista, Minn.) both made their third consecutive trip to NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team while junior Gabrielle Shell (Upper Arlington, Ohio) made a second appearance on the list.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2022 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
