KANSAS CITY, No. -- United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced the College Team Academic Award winners last Wednesday, recognizing collegiate soccer programs for exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year. Wellesley College soccer was among the 821 soccer teams, (319 men, 502 women), to earn the Team Academic Award.

Wellesley received the honor for a seventh consecutive year with a team GPA of 3.58. United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year. Programs most hold a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher to qualify for the award. 

The Blue open the 2023 season on Sept. 1 when they host Simmons at 4:00 PM.
