WELLESLEY, Mass. – Endicott College sophomores Ella Morgan (Salem, Mass.), Samantha Klimas (North Andover, Mass.) and Eliza Walker (Marshfield, Mass.) each scored to lead the visiting Gulls to a 3-0 non-conference victory over Wellesley College soccer on a hot and humid Wednesday afternoon at the Wellesley Field Complex.

Morgan scored her first goal of the season in the thirteenth minute to give Endicott (3-0-0) an early lead. With possession up for grabs in the Wellesley (1-1-0) end, Morgan corralled the ball 25 yards from the Blue goal and released a rising shot from just outside the top of the Wellesley penalty area. The ball touched off the hands of Blue goalkeeper Sascha Fleesler (New York, N.Y.) before landing in the net.

Endicott doubled its lead in the second half when Kilmas took advantage of a Wellesley turnover at the top of the box and released an arching strike into the top right corner of the Wellesley goal to make the score 2-0 Gulls at 52:33. The goal was the third in the last two games for Klimas.

Walker would go on to make the score 3-0 with just over 25 minutes to play in the contest, scoring on a free kick from the top of the Wellesley penalty area when she lifted a right footed shot over the wall and inside the right post for her first of the season.

Endicott finished the contest with an 18-6 advantage in shots. Fleesler recorded four saves in the first half for the Blue before classmate Riley McNair (Cupertino, Calif.) came on in the second half and also made four saves. Junior Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) played the full 90 minutes, making one save to earn the win for Endicott.

Next up, Wellesley travels to New York State to take on SUNY Delhi on Sunday at 1:00 PM. The Gulls are also on the road Sunday for a 2:30 PM game at Bowdoin.
