Trinity (Conn.) Sneaks By Wellesley Soccer, 1-0

HARTFORD, Conn. – Wellesley College soccer fell 1-0 in a non-conference game against Trinity (Conn.) on Sunday.

The big moment for the Bantams (2-1-2 Overall) came at the 73:50 mark when senior Dot Tilden (Hanover, Mass.) scored off of a pass from first year Aimee Poole (Ashland, Ore.).

Sophomore goalkeeper Riley McNair (Cupertino, Calif.) made six saves for the Blue (1-3 Overall, 0-1 NEWMAC).

The Bantams kept the ball in the offensive half of the field, taking 16 shots to just one for the Blue. Senior Mariana Cournoyer (St. Paul, Minn.) earned the shutout for Trinity. 

Next up, Wellesley hosts Wheaton for Earn The W Day on Friday, September 22 at 4:00 PM. The Engineers travel to Wheaton on Tuesday, September 19 to face the Lyons at 4:00 PM.
