BOSTON, Mass. – With the conclusion of the 2015 women's tennis regular season this evening, the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has released the 2015 NEWMAC Women's Tennis Tournament Pairings. The women's tennis tournament consists of six teams that will compete for the title which will begin on Wednesday, October 21st. 

Wellesley (6-2 NEWMAC) has earned the #3 seed and will host Springfield (2-6), the #6 seed in the tournament. To capture the sixth seed in the tournament a tie breaking procedure was done as Clark, Smith and Springfield each posted a 2-6 NEWMAC record.

Quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Wednesday, October 21st where Wellesley will host Springfield and #4 Mount Holyoke will host #5 Wheaton. Both quarterfinals are set for a 3:00 p.m. start time. 

MIT tabs the top seed after completing its fourth straight unbeaten conference regular season at 8-0. Reining conference champions, Babson will take the second seed after wrapping up the regular season at 7-1 in NEWMAC play. The two top seeds will receive a first round bye and advance to the semifinals which is slated for Saturday, October 24th at MIT.
