No. 3 Wellesley To Host No. 6 Springfield In NEWMAC Tennis Quarters

WELLESLEY, Mass. – No. 3 Wellesley College tennis will host No. 6 Springfield College in the quarterfinals of the 2018 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Tennis Championship on Saturday, April 28 at 12:00 PM. 

The Blue (6-2), who swept past the Pride 9-0 in regular season play, will be looking to advance to the NEWMAC semifinals and a fourth straight conference semifinal match-up with No. 2 Babson. The Beavers wrapped up the regular season at 7-1, and will also host a semifinal match next week.

MIT Clinched the top seed and regular season title with a perfect 8-0 record. The Engineers will host the other semifinal. Mount Holyoke (5-3) earned the No. 4 slot and will host No. 5 Wheaton (4-4).
