Collegiate Career Honors:

• 2021 ITA Scholar-Athlete
• 2022 NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference No. 3 Singles
• 2022 NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference No. 3 Double

2021-22:

• Went 7-6 in singles, including 5-1 in the NEWMAC, and 11-3 in doubles as a senior
• Opened up the fall season with a 8-1 victory at the ITA Regionals with partner Melinda Alviar on Oct. 1
• Advanced to the doubles semifinal round of the C Bracket at the NEWITT Tournament on Oct. 10
• Began the spring season with an 8-2 victory in No. 3 doubles over RPI on Feb. 26
• Won first seven doubles matches in the spring
• Picked up her first singles victory against Whitman College on Mar. 18
• Earned a 6-0, 6-0 sweep versus Wheaton on Apr. 16

2020-21:

• Did not participate due to Covid-19 Pandemic

2019-2020: 

• As sophomore, went 3-3 in singles and 2-3 in doubles.
• Had three set singles victories over Bates on Mar. 7 and Brandeis on Mar. 8.
• Had a doubles victory against Skidmore on Feb. 29 with partner Michaela Markwart.
• Secured a doubles point against Rensselaer on Mar. 1 with partner Michaela Markwart.

2018-2019: 

• As a first year, went 7-7 in siingles and 8-2 in doubles.
• Started her career with a No. 3 singles win against Mount Holyoke in the Seven Sisters Championship.
• Had a three set singles victory against Vassar on Feb. 24 to help the Blue secure the Seven Sisters Championship title.
• Had a doubles victory against MIT on Apr. 14 with partner Lily Chu.
• Earned a singles point against Springfield in the NEWMAC Quarterfinals.
• Earned a doubles point against Springfield with partner Lily Chu in the NEWMAC Quarterfinals on Apr. 27.

Before Wellesley:

• Attended the Episcopal School of Dallas.
• Graduated in 2018.
• Played on the varsity tennis team all four years.
• All SPC award 3 years.
• All North-Zone award 3 years.
• Played in SPC conference.
• Captain senior year.

• Daughter of Ling Xu and Eric Shen.
• Born in Dallas, TX.
• Chose to attend Wellesley because of the strong academics and competitive tennis team.
