Fortnam Wraps Up Track & Field Season at Last Chance Qualifier

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- Senior Taylor Fortnam (Portola Valley, Calif.) finished fourth overall in the steeplechase for Wellesley College Track and Field at the Last Chance Qualifier on Thursday evening at MIT.

Fortnam finished with a 11:33.88 time as she closes out the season for the Blue. She had her college best in the 3000m steeplechase at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships at MIT in April with a time of 11:27.11. This qualified her for the Division III New England Championships and the NEICAAA Championships. She was also named to the NEWMAC All-Conference second team.

This concludes the 2018 outdoor track and field season.
