Wellesley Track & Field's Beauchamp, Whinney Race at MIT Final Qualifier

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Wellesley College track & field sophomores Simone Beauchamp (Aurora, Colo.) and Ella Whinney (Madison, Wis.) competed in the MIT Final Qualifier on Thursday at Sherie and Don (1961) Morrison Track.

Beauchamp ran a personal best time of 10:59.71 to take second in the 3000m Steeplechase event. Beauchamp's time currently ranks 29th in Division III.

Whinney competed in the 1500m race and came in seventh with a time of 4:39.00.
