Wellesley To Host 2015 NEWMAC Cross Country Championships on Sunday

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College will host the 2015 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's and Men's Cross Country Championships this Sunday, November, 1, 2015 at Franklin Park in Boston. 

The five kilometer (5k) women's championship race will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the eight kilometer (8k) men's championship race at 12:00 PM. The NEWMAC awards ceremony will commence approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the men's race and will be held outside the trailer that is adjacent to the finish. 

Fans, coaches and team members are permitted on the course based on course restrictions. The start and finish areas are solely for participating athletes, race officials and championship staff. Spectators must obey the race officials' and championship staff's instructions at all times. Failure to comply with race officials' and championships staff's instructions is grounds for removal. There are no dogs permitted at the park.
