WELLESLEY, Mass. – The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee has announced the team and individual qualifiers for the 2015 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships and Wellesley College cross country has been selected to compete in the women's national championship meet.

The women's race, hosted by the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, will take place on Saturday, November 21, at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wis., beginning at 12:00 PM Eastern time.

The Blue have earned a place at the NCAA Division III Championships for the second-consecutive year, following a 22nd place finish in 2014. In all, Wellesley has qualified four times in program history, also making appearances in 1985 and 1986.

Wellesley earned one of sixteen at-large selections to the women's championship thanks in part to their fifth place finish at the NCAA New England Regional Championship on Saturday, November 14, in New London, Conn.

Thirty-two teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top two, seven- person teams automatically qualified from each of the eight regions, for a total of 16 teams. Sixteen additional teams were selected at-large.

In addition, fifty-six individuals, the first seven student-athletes from each region who are not a part of a qualifying team, were selected to participate in each championship.

The 2015 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) runner-up, Wellesley also captured the 2015 Seven Sisters Championship as well as the team titles at the Roger Williams Invitational and Roy Griak Invitational. The Blue are currently ranked No. 16 in the USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll.
