WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Wellesley College crew seniors Frances Dingivan (Salt Lake City, Utah), Sooji Kang (Columbus, Ohio), and Rhiannon Mulligan (Santa Cruz, Calif.) have each been named 2020 Pocock All-America Nominees by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).

The absence of competitive results or a national championship due to the COVID-19 pandemic preclude awarding 1st and 2nd Team All America Awards for the 2020 season. However, the coaches of the CRCA still wanted to find a way to recognize the top performers in NCAA women's rowing.

Both Dingivan and Mulligan earned All-America honors as juniors in 2019 while leading Wellesley to a third place finish at the NCAA Championships. The duo helped the Blue place in the top-three in each of the last three NCAA Championships.

Kang coxed the Blue's top boat at last year's nationals and helped pilot the Wellesley 'A' boat, featuring Dingivan and Mulligan to a runner-up finish at this fall's Head of the Charles. Mulligan has been a member of the Blue's Varsity Eight since her first year on campus, while Dingivan worked her way through the novice program to join the Second Varsity Eight at NCAAs as a first year and the Varsity Eight as a sophomore and a junior.

For 2020, Division III coaches were able to nominate up to two rowers and one coxswain. The complete list of recipients can be found at collegerowcoach.org.
