On Tuesday, the College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) released its inaugural Athletes to Watch list for the 2024 season. Wellesley College crew senior Anya Hanitchak (Andover, Mass.) and sophomore Hannah Bates (Fair Haven, N.J.) have both been recognized.

Wellesley College crew and head coach Tessa Spillane announced the team's spring 2024 schedule. The Blue will travel to Maryland, New York and various parts of Massachusetts this spring.

Wellesley College crew, the reigning NCAA Division III National Champion, had its first race of the 2023-24 season on Sunday at the 2023 Head Of The Charles Regatta (HOCR) at the Charles River. Wellesley's Varsity Eight (V8+) boat raced out of Bow 2 and finished 10th out of 35 boats in the Women's Collegiate Eights race with a time of 18:31.543. Tufts Varsity Eight won the event with a time of 18:03.969.

The Blue will compete in the Women's Collegiate 8+ and Women's Collegiate 4+ races on Sunday afternoon.
Wellesley Crew in Action this Weekend at the 2023 Head Of The Charles Regatta

The Wellesley College crew team will compete at the 2023 Head Of The Charles Regatta (HOCR) on Sunday, October 22, on the Charles River in Boston. Founded in 1965, the HOCR is a three-day rowing event featuring many of the top rowers, teams and clubs from around the world. This year's event will take place from Friday-Sunday, October 20-22, 2023. Wellesley will compete in the Women's Collegiate Eights on Sunday afternoon starting at 2:51 PM and the Women's Collegiate Fours on Sunday afternoon starting at 3:23 PM.
