Soccer, Field Hockey to Host Earn The W Day on Friday, September 22nd

Hey Now Blue! There's no better way to spend a Friday than with friends, sports, and free giveaways. Wellesley Athletics will be hosting our first Earn The W Day of the 2023-24 academic year on Friday, September 22 at the soccer and field hockey games.

The event will begin at 4:00 PM at the soccer field and will include free snacks (lemonade, popcorn), and giveaways, including Wellesley Athletics/Under Armour stickers (while supplies last). There will be a raffle for Wellesley Blue socks at the soccer game and Wellesley field hockey tshirts at the field hockey game! Following the soccer game, the team will be signing autographs until the start of the field hockey game at 7pm!

Wellesley College soccer takes on NEWMAC foe Wheaton after the two teams tied 1-1 in an exciting contest in 2022. Field hockey squares off against rival Mount Holyoke. The Blue earned a hard-fought 3-2 win last year against the Lyons. If you are unable to attend Saturday, you can still watch live at 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM at newmacsportsnetwork.com/wellesley/.
