10 members of Wellesley swimming and diving made the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team

WESTWOOD, Mass. - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) released the 2022-23 Women's Swimming and Diving Academic All-Conference Team on Wednesday. 10 members of Wellesley College swimming and diving earned the honor this year.

Seniors Claire Moreland (San Francisco, Calif.) and Elizabeth Park (Dix Hills, N.Y.) made their third straight Academic All-Conference team while classmate Lily Duff (Scituate, Mass.) earned the honor for the second time. 

Juniors Alice Johnson (Seattle, Wash.), Mona Li (Cary, N.C.), Eugenia Ma (Princeton, N.J.), and Ariana Mitsuoka (Centennial, Colo.) all received their second consecutive Academic All-Conference nod while sophomores JJ Kim (New Haven, Conn.), Julia Lucey (Old Greenwich, Conn.), and Arya Wu (Shenzhen, China) each made their inaugural appearance on the list.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2021 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
