Liu, Magavi, Sekhon Represent Blue Swimming & Diving on CSCAA Individual Scholar All-American Team

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. -- Wellesley College swimming & diving sophomores Tracey Liu (Princeton, N.J.), Kavita Sekhon (Los Angeles, Calif.) and first year Jaya Magavi (West Hartford, Conn.) are among the over 2,000 swimmers and divers on the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Team for the 2023-24 season. Liu and Sekhon have each made the First Team while Magavi has been named a Second Team honoree.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
Sekhon competed in seven different events, (three individual, four relay) at the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships. She earned All-American honors in the 100 Breaststroke event by placing eighth with a time of 1:02.85.
Liu raced in four relay events and the 100 Back event at the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships. Liu also competed in the 100 Back and 200 Medley Relay at the 2023 NCAA Division III Championships.
Magavi competed in the 2024 NCAA Diving Regionals, placing ninth in 1-Meter Diving with a score of 394.90.
