Bio

Doug Curtin joined Wellesley swimming & diving as an Assistant Coach in January, 2024.

Curtin has been the Head Coach of the Wellesley High School boys swimming & diving team since 2018, and Girls swimming & diving team since 2022. From 2018-22, Curtin oversaw the Belmont High School girls swimming & diving team. 

In 2022, Curtin was named the Boston Globe Coach of the Year and in 2023 was part of the Girls South Sectional & D2 State Champions. Curtin also has Bay State League Championships with both the Boys (2021) and Girls (2022) teams in Wellesley. Additionally, Curtin has experience as a Chief Strategy Officer at PLT4M, a physical education software company in Framingham, Mass.

Curtin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Government from Trinity (Conn). While at Trinity, Curtin was a four-year member of the swimming & diving team and two-year captain of the Bantams.
