It's NCAA Division III Week! This week is a celebration of our student-athletes and the impact they have on the entire Wellesley community! This year, NCAA Division III Week begins Monday, April 1 and continues through Sunday, April 7. Wellesley Athletics will be celebrating with an Earn The W Day doubleheader on April 3. The Blue will also host Trans Visibility games on March 30 and April 3.
LeadBLUE: Annual Alum Networking Event to take place on April 7th as part of NCAA Division III Week

Wellesley College Athletics will conclude NCAA Division III Week 2024 with the annual LeadBLUE Student-Athlete Alum Networking Event, sponsored by Friends of Wellesley Athletics on Sunday, April 16 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM. The event will take place in the Dorothy Towne Fieldhouse.
Cai, Cheng Earn Place on NEWMAC Winter All-Sportsmanship Team

The NEWMAC announced the 2023-24 Winter All-Sportsmanship Team on Friday. Wellesley College swimming & diving junior Cecilia Cai (Palo Alto, Calif.) and basketball first year Amanda Cheng (Shanghai, China) earned All-Sportsmanship honors for the Blue.

The NEWMAC Announces FloSports as Exclusive Media Partner

The NEWMAC and FloSports, a global independent sports media company and streaming platform, today announced a historic five-year media rights agreement under which FloSports will become the exclusive media partner of the NEWMAC beginning in the 2024-2025 academic year. By providing the NEWMAC with a national platform and additional resources, the agreement will enhance the NEWMAC’s standing as a preeminent NCAA Division III conference.

Calling all storytellers! Join Friends of Wellesley Athletics for a night of storytelling to celebrate 50 Years of Varsity Athletics at Wellesley College during Reunion 2024. Earn The W: Triumphs and Challenges will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 7:30 – 8:30pm in Jewett Auditorium. A dessert reception will follow.
Wellesley College Athletics Mourns Passing of Joy Renjilian-Burgy

Wellesley College Athletics joins the Wellesley College community in mourning the passing of Joy Renjilian-Burgy, Associate Professor Emerita of Spanish and longtime Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR). Joy passed away last week in Boulder, Colorado. She was 81.

Wellesley To Host National Girls & Women In Sports Day Clinic on February 3, 2024

Wellesley College Athletics will celebrate the 38th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) when the Blue basketball team hosts Salve Regina at Dorothy Towne Fieldhouse on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Prior to the game, Wellesley Athletics will host a pregame clinic for girls athletes featuring instruction in multiple sports from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
Four Named to NEWMAC Fall All-Sportsmanship Team

On Tuesday, the NEWMAC announced the 2023 Fall All-Sportsmanship Team. Senior Kate Salembier (Sierra Madre, Calif.), juniors Maya Benway (Harvard, Mass.) and Carrie Huang (Seattle, Wash.) and sophomore Emily Brydges (Suffield, Conn.) represented the Blue on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Surfs up Blue Nation! Don't let the cold weather get you down. Wellesley Athletics will be hosting a Tropical Oasis Earn The W Day on Saturday, November 18, 2023! The event will begin at 11:00 AM at Chandler Pool and will include free popcorn and giveaways, including flamingo cup holders, palm tree cup holders, leis, beach ball stress balls, beach themed silly straws, and Wellesley Athletics/Under Armour stickers (while supplies last). Prior to the swimming & diving meet, the team will celebrate senior day. There will also be a raffle at the meet to win a Wellesley prize pack. The basketball game will include a game of Knockout at halftime for a chance to win a Wellesley basketball practice jersey or t-shirt.
